Individual blocks show a marshland turtle and bird; raccoons and an owl visiting in a tree; a bird couple resting on a wildflower; majestic fish in their lake habitat; and two fun-loving otters at play.Finished quilt size is: 62 1/2″ X 45″Lake Forest is a 6 month Block of the Month. 5 patterns – Double Trouble, Thistle Do It, Way Down Under, Highs and Lows and This Otter Be Fun. Price for the first through sixth month is $24.23 plus shipping. You will recieve generous cuts of fabric to make the block section each month.

The last Piecemakers Quilt Guild meeting was held here at the store, with  58  members attending.  Liz Burns displayed her new nose, to cover up here nose which she had recently broke. Liz broke her nose during a recent home improvement.  Liz being blind says you never rearrange a blind persons home. Liz, we hope your nose can soon be fixed.

Blessings Wovens are here and just in time to get the fabric you need for a Rag Quilt before it gets cold. We will have Rag quilt kits available in two color ways. Jackie is hard at work cutting the kits so all you have to do is pick one up.

Rouenneries by French General for Moda Fabrics

 Vintage Ribbon  free table runner. Down load this free pattern using the new farbic line Rouenneries. For the table runner you will need 11 fat quarters plus your batting and backing.  This runner is  18 1/2″ x 42″.

Miss Rosies Quilts has also made a great pattern using the fabric Rouenneries. We also have made a kit for this project. This makes a 31″ x 31″ table topper.
